Paul Lee Taylor used his three brothers, Rico, Willy and Dave, and their real life adventures as a model for developing this, his first book, We're Gonna Need Bigger Guns. Paul began his journey as a writer early in life and won creative writing contests and published short stories at a very young age, His work was known for its action and realism.

Paul graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, then began his career as a wordsmith. After a brief stint as a reporter, Paul landed a job on the east coast as a Copy Writer in a Baltimore ad agency. At the height of the golden age of advertising, his career blossomed and opportunities grew.

With several clients in nearby Washington, DC, Paul learned a lot about government affairs from an insider's perspective. Always in touch with his brothers, he followed their careers and secret lives closely, knowing that his personal experience and what he knew about their extraordinary lives would someday provide fascinating material for a great book and maybe even a movie.
